Meet Coon: A Story of Courage and Recovery

Coon’s Journey

Coon’s life started with hardship. As a young kitten, she was attacked by a raccoon, leaving her with a broken leg. Homeward Bound initially tried to save her leg by casting it, hoping for healing. For six weeks, she rested in a kennel during her recovery, but unfortunately, the casting failed.

Coon ultimately underwent surgery to have her leg amputated. Despite this, she quickly adapted to life on three legs, showing just how resilient and loving she is.

A Sweet and Loving Personality

Coon is about one year old and has a personality as big as her heart. She loves people, enjoys attention, and will happily cuddle up next to you. She gets along well with other cats but would also thrive as a solo pet. Coon is wonderful with children, making her an ideal addition to a family home.

Why Adopt Coon?

Coon is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a sweet, low-maintenance, and resilient cat. Her three-legged status doesn’t hold her back, and she’ll bring endless joy and love to her new family. By adopting Coon, you’re giving her the second chance she truly deserves.
