Caring for Cats through TNR

Helping stray and feral cats through a kind, effective method that supports both cats and communities.

What is TNR, and How Does It Help?

Trap–Neuter–Return (TNR) is a humane, effective approach to managing stray and feral cat populations.

With TNR, cats are safely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and returned to their outdoor homes.

This helps:

✅ Prevent unwanted litters

✅ Improve cats’ health and behavior

✅ Reduce colony size over time

✅ Help outdoor cats live healthier lives in harmony with the community

🐾 How to Tell if a Cat Has Been TNR’d

If you see a cat with a tipped left ear (the top corner is missing), that’s the universal sign they’ve already been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and returned to their outdoor home through a TNR program.

Look for the left ear!
A tipped ear = a cared-for cat who’s part of a healthy, stable colony.

Whether you’ve seen a stray in need or just want to get involved—we’d love to hear from you!
