What is TNR?

TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) is a humane way to manage stray and feral cat populations, improving their lives, reducing colony sizes, and fostering better relationships with residents.

How it works:

  • Trap: Cats are humanely trapped.

  • Neuter: They are taken to a veterinarian to be spayed or neutered.

  • Return: After recovery, they are returned to their outdoor home, their colony.

Non-feral stray cats and kittens who are sick, injured, or orphaned are placed in foster care. Learn more about TNR.
